MemberThere were 2 versions of Samsung Update Plus installed!
I have removed both and the error messages have gone. Many thanks. With the help of 3G I also removed and reinstalled their software and that works now as well.

MemberThanks jeepers01.
I’ve done a virus scan and installed and run Spybot but neither show anything untoward.
This all seemed to happen when I was using a 3G dongle on the internet. The device said it was updating then I started getting error messages. I tried Windows restore but that correct anything so I used Samsung Recovery Solution to restore it to the point I had when I’d installed all my applications. Since then I get these errors. The 3G dongle seems to be U/S and I’ve not used it on the Sammy since.
I don’t know what Alice Client Manager is so I doubt that I’m using it.PS where do I get EasySpeedupManager?

MemberAfter looking at all the posts here I was a bit concerned at the prices and being mean (careful) I decided to wait until something more suitable to my finances came along.
I was with my wife in a local watch repairers shop having a watch battery replaced and I noticed that he was also selling a range of cheap handbags. Among these handbags I noticed a blue canvas type shoulder bag that looked as if it would fit a Sammy. As it was only £9.95 I decided to take a chance and buy it, if it didn’t fit I could always give it to my wife.It is made of a canvas type material and has a very secure front flap with 2 compartments underneath it. One of these is zipped and the other closes with a Velcro patch. Both are completely covered by the front flap when it is closed. The main compartment is lined with a synthetic silk material that is quite soft but I use the slipcase that came with the Sammy to fit inside here, double protection. There is also a zipped pocket at the back that holds my external DVD drive and cables. I also carry a USB flash drive and a USB mouse in the front pocket along with the manuals. There is also room for the power supply in either the front or back compartments or alongside sammy in the main compartment..
It is marketed by HI-TEC, the sportswear company. As I can’t figure how to upload pictures there are some here http://community.webshots.com/user/g6zru

MemberCan anyone please explain to me what “Bluetooth profile” means. Many of the Bluetooth speakers that I’ve seen have said that the device (in this case the NC10) should have A2DP capability. Is this some high tech speak just to confuse me or is it important?

MemberThe days of having to discharge batteries before charging them are thankfully in the past. This only applied to NiCad batteries as they suffered from “memory effect” and doesn’t afect the Lithium Ion battery fitted to the Sammy.
Charge whenever you feel like it!g6zru
MemberI’ve been using XP Pro on my desktop for years and so far haven’t noticed any differences with XP Home on the Sammy.

Member1. It’s the System Software CD and contains all the hardware drivers plus numerous Samsung utilities such as Magic Doctor, Update Plus and Battery Manager and should only be necessary if you ever have to do a complete reload or Hard Drive upgrade.
2. Depends exactly you want to do and what the desktop is. You can connect to another PC via WiFi or Bluetooth depending on the facilities available on the PC.
