Do you need the external drive for many things, or just basic software install?
The reason I ask is MS offers a downloadable version of office, as do other companies, and there are other ways of getting install disks on via a network

finally got to open the nc10 that was waiting for me at my office.
IT did not disappoint in any way!
The only thing I cant do is change the ram as I have no small screwdrivers in the house!

I love it! Problem free set up No issues whatsoever.
Hulu is great.
The commercials are not too intrusive even though you cant ff. The larger issue for me which may be changing is that there is no way to port the episodes onto portable players like ipod.
I get the business model that they want you to have to go there to watch them, but I am sure there is a way to have the commercials play during viewings on portable players.
So because I just wanted a sleeve and not a case (I carry a shoulder bag by Tumi it can go into) and I am a sucker for great materials, I ordered the Alcantara sleeve from the wrappers site in UK. Not cheap, but hopefully I will like it.
The irony is that I havent even had a chance to open and unbox my new NC10 since I was traveling for business and it was shipped to my office!

I would send an email and link to where this is becoming this hotest thing since sliced bread and it might be in their best interest make one before someone else does and they lose business..
I know from the car modding scene, if you take the time to help a vendor create a part you normally get it for free!
Well for phone, I am about to receive in the mail the new Motorola H15. It is IMHO from reading reviews and such the best thing out there.
I have a first gen Jawbone that was ok, but not great. The 2nd gen gets mixed reviews, some are glowing, others less so.
To echo Squonk, Samsung did not sell notebooks of any kind here before very recently. They are known for TVs, appliances, etc.
They do have market penetration for monitors, but thats it.
So the avg. American has no clue that Samsung even makes Laptops.
Having read the thread, I think Jez as admin should step in and clarfiy what the position is and why he is not ok with it.
I agree that railing against microsoft may be acceptable, but per Jez’s rules, talking about the number of non-legal copies that one has is not.
On another note, this thread has had 37 views it seems. That seems a lot for just 4 mods, is it possible that others have access to this part of the forum?
That’s a tough call. You made the decision so I dont think you should reinstate the posts. He is talking essentially about pirating software so I get why you did it, I just think we need to pick and choose our battles to keep a balanced level of moderation on here.
