Mine has just arrived. Good result, I think.
I ordered it from Dixons last Wednesday night (near midnight) and it arrived today, quicker than I expected.
Mine arrived about 13:00 Ordered Thurs night. Looks like they had a shipment over the weekend.
Can’t wait to get out of work to start messing with it.
My two arrived today….
One has already been opened (my ex GF’s) so should be sorting one out tonight for her to use. Mine will stay in its box for a while. Both blue by the way.
Any guides for creating bootable USBs? I need to sort out office etc and don’t really fancy buying the DVD drive external quite yet!

Hello all, my first post and I don’t mean to annoy people, but
I ordered 2 today (both black – 1 for me and the other for a friend) and they will arrive tomorrow!! But then again I have an account with a trade distributor 😉They were due a large shipment this Friday which apparently has been delayed. My rep also said that Samsung will be increasing the trade price by 5-10% in the new year.
I’ll keep my ears open for any other gossip – oh and to state common knowledge: upgrading the RAM doesn’t invalidate the warranty. Let me know if anyone needs to know anything else & I’ll try to find out!

I think sadly we’ve all noticed that price rise but it’s interesting to hear it from the other side of the fence so to speak.
Someone here emailed Samsung support and it seems that yep changing RAM is OK but if you have a RAM related issue after the change then they might not help – I guess that makes sense because if you put faulty RAM in how can they be responsible!
My view is that if people are concerned then they should email support themselves and then they can be happy that they have a direct reply.

But back to the NC10: I’m so looking forward to not lugging my 15″ laptop around all the time!
I ordered 10/19 from amazon, and computer arrived Monday. Unfortunately, I’m out of town and it’s sitting at a neighbor’s house until I get home tomorrow. I’ve had my 2GB memory module for more than a month!

About the price:
It was 469usd on sunday at both newegg and amazon. Then on monday it went up to 499 at newegg so i ordered it from amazon.com. its 488 at amazon now… It is due to the nc10 shortages, samsung knew that it’s gonna be a smash hit but they didn’t expect it to be a bomb…Ordered my black one from samsunglaptop.co.uk yesterday and got delivery this morning.
Strange it is showing 1.99G of RAM instead of 2G.
Who ate the small bit? 🙂Got a rare blue one yesterday from PC World in Edinburgh. They had one white and 8 black left. They are in the stock room, not yet on the shelves so you have to ask.
