MemberWell for phone, I am about to receive in the mail the new Motorola H15. It is IMHO from reading reviews and such the best thing out there.
I have a first gen Jawbone that was ok, but not great. The 2nd gen gets mixed reviews, some are glowing, others less so.

MemberIm so clueless about bluetooth – quick question, with bluetooth headphones id connect wirelessly to them with no additional hardware or anything to plug into the NC10? That sounds worth looking into.

Memberassuming the bluetooth radio in the nc10 supports the a2dp protocol (which i imagine being a new device it will) you wont need any cables or extra devices to send audio via bluetooth to other a2dp compatable devices.
my friend uses this to send audio from his phone to his bluetooth enabled car stereo head unit. it’s pretty sweet being able to play tunes from my phone in his car.
the a2dp protocol also alows for controller data to be sent to the transmitting device allowing you to change tracks and pause etc.
i remember seeing a set of nokia made bluetooth cans that had controls for a walkman built into the side but after looking at the spec i was ultimately dissapointed by their frequency response specification so steered well clear. this was when the protocol was in its infancy mind you so i imagine there are higher quality solutions available now. i just don’t know where to look for them though…December 4, 2008 at 10:46 pm #173753dougp
MemberThe NC10 does have A2DP support with our Bluetooth module. One thing people can consider is a Bluetooth headset adapter to which you plug your current favorite headphones into, that way you don’t have to deal with sub par headphones.

[/quote1228516752]Those buds arn’t actually Bluetooth, they use another system called Kleer and AFAIK won’t pair a with bluetooth device, just in case your credit card was getting itchy! lol
Very good sound quality though!
If you want really good buds, I got a pair of these babies last week and they are truly the dog’s gonads!

Memberlame, i thought they were bt based. oh well, one day.
to be honest i’m totally not a buds fan at all. the only way i will ever buy in-ears again is if i get custom fit IEMs for live use.
i own a set of these;
http://www.iheadphones.co.uk/headphones/20738/Beyerdynamic+DT770+M.htmdunno if you’ll have a frame of reference for 32dBA of attenuation but let me put it this way to you…
one minute you are standing infront of a 6.5 thousand watts per stereo side PA system with a metal band playing and the next minute you are alone in your bedroom wondering what song that is your neighbour is playing on the radio in his garage three doors down from you.
they are awesome. best set of ear plugs and headphones i ever bought in one piece.
EDIT: just hit up a ful spec on those sennys. they attenuate 26dBA. so yeah you might have an idea…
