Just had a live chat with the guys at Zagg shields (clear protectors etc) – they should have the NC10 product in a couple of weeks:
If you use Quidco 20% off as well! 😉
Might have a couple on order myself for the blue ones here.
PS The cost showing for the EEE PC is $29.95 so it should be around this mark methinks!
MOD: edit to fix link.
Admin Edit: If anyone does not use Quidco, then I invite you to use this link, this will help contribute the rapidly growing bandwidth bill for the site:

Thanks for the post, this seems like a great product.
I just watched the demonstration with the key and the two 3G iPhones – pretty crazy.
I will be highly considering purchasing one of these when they come out for the NC10.December 2, 2008 at 8:28 pm #173396PugriderMember
This is a super idea, as I assume it will take care of the fingerprint problem as well!December 2, 2008 at 8:32 pm #173395adatay92Member
I’ve got a Zagg Invisible Shield on my iPhone 3g and it is very good. It offers excellent protection, but it doesn’t erradicate the finger print problem entirely. It has now also started to peel around the edges and start to look a bit untidy.
However I would definately consider buying one, although I can’t imagine they will be easy to fit onto the NC10 without leaving bubbles/dust underneath.December 3, 2008 at 3:49 am #173394SerendipMember
Thank you for this! I’ve used them on my iPod and Palm, I’m glad to know there will be one for the NC10.December 3, 2008 at 6:47 am #173399TeutonJon78Participant
its good to hear that they will be available. I emailed them but hadn’t heard back yet.December 5, 2008 at 1:45 am #173400TeutonJon78Participant
Ha…Zagg got back to me. The response is:
“I regret that we do not have a Standard invisibleSHIELD available on our website for your Samsung NC10. We would be more than happy to create a unique custom invisibleSHIELD for your device. We will need you to send the Samsung NC10 with all of your contact information to the following address:
3855 S. 500 W. Suite B
Salt Lake City, UT 84115
***PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE INFORMATION BELOW***
Please understand that for liability concerns we require you to ship your Samsung NC10 to us with a tracking number. We recommend services such as UPS or FedEx. We would also encourage you to insure the package and save your original shipping receipt. Please be aware that we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping.
Because our design team has not yet created an invisibleSHIELD for your Samsung NC10, there is a $19.95 custom service fee that is separate from the cost of the shield. Please allow approximately 3 business days for the design and installation to be complete. Upon completion, we will contact you with the costs and for the balance of the order:
-Cost of the shield
-Return shipping and Insurance
I hope that this information was helpful, and please feel free to contact us with any further questions or concerns.
Thank you for choosing the invisibleSHIELD. We appreciate your business!”
Um, no thanks. Basically, they want me to send them my NC10 and pay $20 extra so they can get the dimensions to sell to everyone else.December 5, 2008 at 10:56 am #173393jezMember
I can’t help thinking the same thing. Surely they can measure it up themselves. And I’m sure they would then sell enough to make back the invested time?
Oh well, someone else is bound to make something similar sooner or later 🙂December 5, 2008 at 1:44 pm #173398PsychNC10Member
I would send an email and link to where this is becoming this hotest thing since sliced bread and it might be in their best interest make one before someone else does and they lose business..
I know from the car modding scene, if you take the time to help a vendor create a part you normally get it for free!December 5, 2008 at 2:45 pm #173401hughsissMember
The InvisibleShiled for my iPhone 3G is excellent, if tricky to install in the first place. I will get one just to avoid scratches.
My notebook got a scratch on the first day I got it and I didn’t even remember doing it.
Shame they don’t have one for the Sammy yet. Hopefully they might have one by the time I get my NC10.
