MemberThanks for that info Adatay, I won’t be buying one myself but it looks like a nice addition to the Sammy family and a new model to discuss here. Can’t wait to see one in the flesh!
I’m intrigued by that Nano CPU, I know it’s less than the 1.6ghz of the Atom but it has double the cache and 800 fsb over 533. It’s going to be interesting.
Is it time for a seperate NC20 section Jez…..?

MemberHave you got the Fallout Collection? I was going to get it as its on Amazon for £6.50. I don’t know if these are XP optimised?

MemberWell i’ve gone for the one off Play.com in the end. The one in Sammy at the moment is a Hitachi which I find quite loud late at night so hopefully this new one will be quieter. I will report back with the experience!

I accidently hit “disable” on the tiny wireless icon on the bottom right hand side task bar.How do I get it back???
Thanks
[/quote1231881157]If you wish to disable your wifi adapter quickly just hold down ‘fn’ (bottom left in blue) and press F9. Repeat to re-enable.

MemberHmm yes interesting but it is going to be expensive with all that gear built in. If they get that in under £350 it may be worth it. The Z Atom runs on the Intel US15L chipset with GMA 500 graphics so maybe improved graphics? No mention of hard drive or battery though.

MemberSites back up.. .looks exactly the same to me! Can’t believe they’d throw away a days trade like that!

MemberWhy couldn”t they call it gold-nano particles? Sounds much cooler! I don’t think people would mind so much if they had gold fingers….!

MemberIf you’re going to haggle try and haggle a case for it as the NC10 comes with a really poor slipcase that offers little protection. Be determined and don’t take no for an answer!

Um, Im sure this is deva-vu, there is no danger of the silver nano particles
Turning you blue
Inducing beard growth
Effecting your sex/hard driveUnless you like to lick keyboards then ingest them (in large quantities) you’ll be absolutely fine, that is if the enter key doesn’t get you first.
I’d be more afraid of the atom processor, its freakin’ atomic man!!
[/quote1231774107]LOL very funny!
Are you telling me that this SUCKER is NUCLEAR???

MemberHave you got the Realtek software installed? Should be in the control panel.

MemberHello and welcome to the forum! You might find the NC10 information page helpful for answering your queries.

MemberThe site HotUKDeals is worth keeping an eye on if you’re after some bargains. I’ve seen external hard drives on there going quite cheap. You have to be quick on some of the deals though!

Its is more than likely that the review is of a concept device. A concept device that Samsung dispatched to review/gadget websites. In other words, it is not available on retail sale. It was just a prototype that never made manufacture…
[/quote1231670543]That’s what I thought when I saw it. Maybe Samsung decided against that touchpad for whatever reason when the NC10 went to full production.

MemberWell the average price of a usb dongle is £40 so its basically £60 for the convinence of not carrying a dongle around. If it drops by maybe £40-£50 it could be worth it.

Congrats on finally getting your Sammy! 🙂I find it’s a reassuringly solid weight myself. Anything too light for it’s size tends to feel cheap to me. I’ve popped it in my handbag a few times and while it’s certainly noticeable, it’s not uncomfortably so.
[/quote1231525879]Man, how big is your handbag!! It won’t fit in mine! hehehe
