Anybody else thinking of upgrading their 160 GB to something bigger?
I was pondering over an external but I don’t really want to carry it around and it will probably drain the battery faster. I have found this internal 2.5 at Play.com which I thought was a good price. I need it to store video/music/images. I am just not sure about opening the case up as it looks awkward to do and may void the warranty. Anybody here who has done the upgrade? Any advice?opening the case isn’t too difficult….just need to be careful.
I was looking at that exact same drive. Can’t see there would be a problem with it – there is a post in the hacks/mods forum about someone who upgraded to a 500Gb hdd in their NC10.
I have pointed this out before but you will void your warranty if you open up your NC10…. but it should be an easy upgrade any SATA 2.5 should work
