I cant believe this is due out in February!
Anyone already counting down the days?
January 1, 2009 at 8:52 pm #177974dinoMemberis there any more news on this? i’m not convinced it will be better than the NC10, just a bit different.
larger keyboard and trackpad, but less portable
larger screen, but less battery life
slightly better processor, but again less battery lifeotherwise specs seem the same, not even a dedicated GPU or draft-N card….
you could buy a dell mini 12 right now for less. But am interested to hear what people are hoping for with the NC20.
January 13, 2009 at 10:07 pm #177988PanManMemberUser manual available for the NC20 from Samsung
(lol dont bother its an empty Macromedia Flashplayer 🙂
January 14, 2009 at 12:26 am #177960adatay92MemberWoah PanMan you’ve stumbled on a goldmine of information there! That file DEFINATELY isn’t empty. Check out some screenshots including specification for the NC20!
Sorry about the watermarks guys but I’ve already seen one example where the hard effort of a user on this site has had pics used on another site without permission!

January 14, 2009 at 12:59 am #177954BeckyMemberWoah, that looks pretty nice! I was hoping I wouldn’t need to think about upgrading so soon after getting the NC10, but I’m excited about that 12″ screen and the higher resolution. Wonder what kind of battery life it’s going to have…..
January 14, 2009 at 1:00 am #177967adatay92MemberLooks like it’s still got the same 6 cell battery so we might see a decrease in battery life especially due to the larger screen…. just speculation though…
January 14, 2009 at 1:13 am #177989PanManMemberok so its my cack works machine to blame.
hmmm nice grabs 🙂
Like the idea of the HDD being more easily accesible, ideal for instant upgraders. Whip HDD before booting for the first time, install you’re own with a fresh copy of your favourite OS on then pop the original back in if you sell it 🙂
I think the side profile looks slightly differnt as there’s no chrome strip
As you say the battery pack looks like it could be identical to the NC10 (given the bigger overhangs) ,would the screen take that much more power or would it be overset by a potential power saving on the chipset?
January 14, 2009 at 5:00 am #177992soutthpawMemberStill not sure about calling a 12 inch screen a netbook? what about the price? I also see people referring to the Asus N10j as the “best netbook” yet this is a $700 machine. I can get a well equipped laptop for $700…
January 14, 2009 at 6:28 am #177994BluebirdNC10Membernothing new there that would tempt me to the NC20…and anyway only just got the NC10……
Spec wise it’s nothing spectular…slower cpu, but higher resolution. As for easier upgrading of the ram and hdd, well that’s just tweaks really.
