Take a look at the pictures. It says NC10 on the site and it certainly looks like an NC10, but the touchpad seems to be much bigger than the NC10’s that I’m familiar with. What is this supposed to be? Any ideas?

MemberCould this be an updated version? The first image though clearly showed the existing touchpad. It also said “Ethernet and 802.11n Wi-Fi come as standard “. My Sammy’s wifi is 802.11b/g not n.

MemberThese images look exactly like my NC10 which I bought in the UK recently. Hard to tell actual measurements from photos but I would say these look like the touchpad of mine. The website is from the UK as well – possible different dimensions?

[/quote1231558184]Can you elaborate?
You are saying you have the same touchpad as this or that you are saying the dimensions are different than yours?

MemberThat would be great if it was an updated version with a larger trackpad and I could get my hands on it soon!

MemberI am saying that the image looks to be exactly the netbook that I own and bought in the UK end of December. I have never seen one bought in the US, can’t say if there is a difference. Don’t know how much help that is!!

MemberHmm as far as I’m aware the UK version is exactly the same as every other version out there, even according to their site.
Can you share where you purchased your NC10? If you have any pictures that would be excellent too! I was not aware that there was any version available anywhere with a different trackpad than the standard.

MemberMy NC10 is the UK version and the touchpad does not look like that on mine.
I’ve seen those pics before and believe they were meant to show an upcoming design which was in the pipeline. I wasn’t aware this design was now live and available to buy.
Karanet, this is what mine looks like, please could you confirm if the touchpad on yours is the same or more like the one in the links previously posted?

MemberThe touchpad shown in the first post has very slim left/right click on the touchpad. Mine looks exactly like Becky’s not like the one in the first post.

MemberI have to say though, that picture looks absolutely gorgeous. Maybe I will consider looking over the blue model.

MemberMaybe im the only one here who is utterly satisfied with the touchpad. Although I never owned any notebooks/netbooks before (well, more than just a month) it’s perfect. No problem scrolling or anything. Although i don’t think i will play games on it. 😀

MemberI’m as satisfied with the touchpad (now that Ive tweaked the settings) as I am with any touchpad (ie not a big fan & preferred the older IBM style nipple).
Around the house/extended use i attach a mouse but the touchpad is adequate for out n the road

MemberLooks like a design that incorporates the click button into the touch pad which would make the pad area appear larger. Not sure it would practically be a larger finger area.
But like some others, I’m also happy with the touchpad. Maybe I don’t have huge fingers, but I can cope with it quite well. If I was using the thing as my main desktop then I’d rather a proper mouse. Besides I have a mini-mouse I can plug in anyway.
Still… better than those awful nipples! 😉 sorry PanMan 🙂

MemberJust noticed – it looks like the new version is wider as well. Compare to the space bar in
