MemberThe one you link to is better looking and fits closer, unfortunately there isn’t a UK seller. With postage that pair would cost £24.00, the ones I bought were £19.20 for four.

That can’t be right…that would mean that the NC10 was made/packed on monday, then shipped out to me on the friday of the same week – meaning I got it exactly a week after it was made??Surely that can’t be right?
[/quote1234886562]Smell it, see if it still has that freshly baked aroma. 😀

MemberThe outer one stayed on for a week or so, the screen one I found caused glare so that came off straight away.

MemberTry your power supply on her sammy, if the problem is still there then it’s a faulty netbook, if it disappears it’s a faulty power supply. Try her power supply on your sammy and see if the fault occurs there, that’ll confirm a faulty unit.

Thanks chap – your name always make me laugh!
[/quote1234825717]The name is in honour of my gallbladder which was filled with stones and is no longer a part of me. 😀

MemberIt’s a fact of life, whatever you do someone will say it’s crap. They seem to derive pleasure from doing down anyone who tries to make a difference in whatever field they’re working in.
You have the numbers, you know how good this site is.
I for one have visited this site every day since I found it, I’ve always read something of interest and acquired new insight into how our favourite netbook works (or sometimes doesn’t).
Thank you Jez.

MemberMy Sammy now has Mobile Broadband for those occasions when I need ‘net access when I’m at friends places fixing their sick computers. I have a lump hammer for people who call me because they’ve got a virus AGAIN!.

MemberIt could be a virus. I would reformat and reinstall Windows and see if that solves the problem, if it’s still there then it’s a hardware fault and a job for Samsung.

MemberIt looks like a USB stick is the geeks toolbox these days. 🙂

MemberHow do I make the Recycle Bin appear on my desktop in Windows Vista or in Windows XP?
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810869
Or use TweakUI to put it back:

MemberAlso left a positive review. I don’t think you should be bothered by reviews like that, the very fact that you have so many users and so much traffic tells you all you need to know.
Why not put up a Paypal tip jar or some such thing so we can contribute some cash towards the running costs.

i expect its AVG. it crippled my NC10 too…
[/quote1234739057]Not here, AVG free is not using many clock cycles just sitting in the systray.

MemberI know, at current exchange rates that’s over £27. There is an Amazon Marketplace seller but they don’t have the netbook size.
