TCMuffin MemberI’d forgotten about the custom MBR – thank you, Alfihar. TCMuffin Member[quote1241279603=summertan]
Is there a free program to undelete the folder?
 [/quote1241279603]
You could try Recuva – it works on 64 bit systems and has saved my bacon before now. Not sure if you can specify a folder though 😕May 2, 2009 at 3:48 pm in reply to: Kingston 2GB upgrade for NC10/NC20 £13.49 @ Play.com delivered (UK only sorry!) #189279TCMuffin Member[quote1241279253=John Little]
Note to self: must shut-down the computer before hacking away 😉

All joking apart…..don’t forget to remove the battery as well 🙂TCMuffin MemberHi Ian and welcome to the forum 🙂 It’s also worth rebooting the router. TCMuffin MemberOr, prepare a USB boot drive using the Samsung XP home disk and boot from this and then select the repair option 😕 TCMuffin Member[quote1241202742=Don_Audio]
Even when you are using Firefox you should consider to install IE8 and keep it up-to-date. Win XP comes with an outdated version of IE6 / IE7 and is valuable to some exploits which utilise weakness spots of outdated browsers.

Good point, Don 🙂TCMuffin MemberI’m running Avast with Windows 7 and it works well. TCMuffin MemberTry restarting your router (pull the plug out of the back, wait 30 seconds, and replace the plug). Whilst you’re doing this, press and hold the on/off button on the netbook until it turns off and turn it back on again. TCMuffin MemberHi danwel Are you trying to connect wired or wirelessly? TCMuffin Member[quote1241192716=zidanetribal21]
Does anyone know of a website to find spare parts for NC10’s, or damaged NC10’s? Or does anyone have an NC10 with a broken screen or something equally crippling, that they are looking to unload?

Check out the thread NC10 Replacement Parts Supplier.TCMuffin Member[quote1241191001=veebo]
I read that windows 7 will only allow 3 apps to run at once and that media player will be disabled for netbooks, can that possible be true???
 [/quote1241191001]
Windows 7 will be available in several different versions:-
Windows 7 Starter (AKA
 Crippleware)
 *Windows 7 Home Premium
 *Windows 7 Professional
 *Windows 7 Enterprise
 *Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows 7 Home Basic will also be sold, but only to emerging markets.Windows 7 Starter is the version likely to be available on netbooks and, yes, the rumour is that it will only run three concurrent applications :(( TCMuffin MemberWelcome to the forum, littlereba, and thank you for answering your own question and sharing it with us !lol TCMuffin MemberHappy days, danwel. Congratulations on your good deal 🙂 TCMuffin Member[quote1241190164=veebo]
