Hi everyone,
I was wondering (after wading through the one or two pages this thread has!) if anyone had bought the 10.4 inch Zero Shock III case (mentioned on page 2 of this thread)? I see that some go for the snug fit of the small 8.something inch Zero Shock III, whereas others go for the larger 10.6 inch case. This appears to be a halfway house, from the USA. Any experience of this 10.4 inch one? How does it compare to the other two cases?
Also, does anyone know how the Zero Shock III compares to the Cool Bananas case as on Amazon? (http://www.amazon.co.uk/COOL-BANANAS-Protection-Samsung-Sleeve/dp/B001JFKGHM?&camp=2486&linkCode=wey&tag=samncblog-21&creative=8882)

Oopps! I see that the inner dimension of the 10.4 inch is too small! Odd that the 8.9 inch sleeve is wider? Does anyone think that they may have their dimensions wrong on Shinza.com?
Anyhow, I’m still curious how the zero shock compares with the cool bananas.
Finally, I wonder if any of you who have the 8.9 ich Zero Shock III sleeve have found if it “slackens off” a little with time?

I am having the same issue: COOL BANANAS EVA Hardcover case or the 8.9 ich Zero Shock III sleeve does anyone know which is better. I am generally looking for good protection when its in a bag with other things.

I’ve just bought yet another bag for my NC10. The one I have bought and love the best is the Solo Tech 11″ messenger bag. It is £39.99 in most places but I found it on Maplins for £14.99 + VAT – Bargain eh. It has the main compartment for my netbook and has a front pocket with pockets within that section. It has lots more room than the Ultimate Add On one I bought. It folds out at the bottom so it can lie flat when going through an xray machine at the airport.Can I ask whats the best size to get for this?

Check out this case. It’s a very good product and fit perfectly the NC10. It’s slim and sturdy. It has shoulder trap that could be removed. It’s just a little pricey, $45.00. It’s available in MicroCenter, too.

Has anyone stumbled across a sleeve that’s not neoprene (at least on the outside) and still small, and protective?
I’m near-allergic to neoprene and its ilk, including the flimsy thing the NC-10 originally came in… It’s sort of disgusting to even touch (yeah, I’m weird…).
Some time back I mentioned an idea I saw on another forum : a sleeve made for carrying two table tennis rackets. Costs next to nothing, sturdy, not neoprene, has a small side pocket, and fits a 10″ netbook just fine… not to mention original 🙂
I bought a Parkway messenger from ful that was made for 13″ macbooks that I quite like for the Sammy. I needed something that was big enough to carry my most important stuff without being so big that I would be tempted to carry a lot of stuff. this one fits the bill. The bag itself is a bit heavier than I would like, but it’s not too heavy. I did a full review on my site if anyone is interested. You can get it from eBags and Amazon in the US, dunno about the UK.
Does anyone know of any good casing/sleeve that I can get for my NC10 which doesnt increase the size of the whole package significantly? I have a zeroshock 10.4″ but I find it too big and bulky. I will be putting it in the padded laptop compartment of my crumpler bag anyways. I am looking for something as small as the free samsung sleeve if possible, but maybe with a little protection. Is there any significant difference between the 8.9″and 10.4″ zeroshock cases in terms of the bulkiness?

This is my favorite among all of my cases/bags I had before. I wish they make more models.

Now it is even cheaper $20.95 with $25+ Amazon FREE S&H.
