Mine just arrived this morning, it’s even better in ‘person’..Nice.
Is the Ultimate Add-on bag waterproof? It’s like a decent alternative to the Belkin one which looks similar to it.
I want to find a suitable sleeve, just for the NC10, and a slightly bigger bag for the charger, leads and mouse etc.

After much reading and deliberating, I purchased one of these today.
Its currently reducted at PCWorld and Currys at £19.96 (£10 reduction).
It has plenty of internal storage compartments and fits the NC10 perfectly. Its predominatly black in colour with some grey external featuring. Internally it is lined in a deep red coloured material.
Some of its features are:

This tracking option includes two track numbers, one stiched into the bag itself and the other is a sticker which you attach to your Netbook.

I bought the same one in January and use it nearly every day and it still looks as good as the day I bought it 🙂I got the Ultimate Add-Ons messenger bag. I can’t really fault it as it’s perfect for the NC10 and I fit in my AC adapter in easily. Delivered in 2 days (including Good Friday).

I’ve spend hours looking for a netbook bag for this thing, i wanted somethign pretty specific and this site helped me alot so i thought id share what i found as i think its awesome, maybe it will help someone else out.
I wanted:
– Something i can put the nc10 into and still use it inside the case.
– Not a sleve cos theyre not easy to carry
– Not much bigger than the sammy, (whats the point in a tiny netbook in a massive bag)
– Something like a messenger bag that hangs by your legAfter hundereds of pages of bags i found this one and took a shot. Its a bit different than the Amazon add showed it ^^ but thats becoming more and more normal these days.
‘COOL BANANAS EVA Hardcover case’
Theres a netted pocket inside the lid with enough room for a slim phone and wallet but I’ve had to move one of the strp rings to the back rather than the front so that it hangs like a vertical messenger bag and not like a laptop bag. Great for throwing over your sholder taking out and popping it open when you need to use the lappy.

I’ve spent ages looking for a pink laptop bag for my NC10. I’ve just come across this one http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/messenger/messenger-mini/click#product=4-66444 trouble is I’m not sure it’s going to be big enough, & I can’t find anyone in the UK who sells it. Any advice would be much apprecated.
Just to add my flag to this very, very long thread;
My mother bought me a Cool Bananas shock-sleeve when I first got my NC10, and whilst I was initially sceptical it is surprisingly efficient at protecting the machine from knocks.
However, most of the time I lug my NC10 around in an ex-military satchel – leather lined making it very sturdy and waterproof, with enough room for other studenty odds and ends without the netbook itself rattling around lots. It’s also of the right sort of fabric for repainting at some point, which would make it significantly cooler than it already is.
