MemberHaha – There do seem to be differences from machine to machine, I hear my fan quite a lot of the time, and the HD rarely. I have no TV and little other background noise though. My 3 year old Packard Bell laptop is a screamer compared to this.
A lot depends on what you are used to.

MemberIt looks like the sort of symptoms from a clash of IP addresses, with the ‘repair’ snatching it back for a while.
If I could remember how to check that I’d be more helpful

MemberOK – Writing that prompted my remaining grey cells to join neural hands and answer myself. It is Road Rash. I have found a Sega version to run on my NC10, the graphics are naff and the music is not as heavy as what I was used to, so I’ll see if I can find the version I used to own.

MemberI am not really a gamer. Maybe someone who knows more than I could help me. I used to have a motorbike street racing game, where you could win money as prizes then buy better bikes. I can’t remember what it was called, let alone find a copy. Does it ring any bells with anyone?

MemberIt wasn’t overlooked Carey. There is info on a ‘sticky’ on the ‘Applications forum.
Evidently not easy to spot though, so this should catch the eye of a few more people

MemberGreat Vid!
So many memories. Mansell was one of the greats, Senna was just something else though. I’ll never forget that fateful day.

MemberSorry, I’m not falling for that. It looks more like justifying future price hikes for netbooks.
Have you read how locked down ‘Starter Edition’ Win 7 will be for netbooks though?

MemberI have a very old Samsung phone which was dropped in water and then stamped on – it still works fine, if slightly cracked.
Samsung TV design was what caught my eye first I think, later on though.tonytb
MemberOops, hello? I just woke up.

MemberThat’s always happening to me too

MemberInteresting stuff, and I learned that ARM is from Acorn. British inventiveness is still alive.

MemberOops. Thanks Jayne.

MemberThanks Jeepers01, it almost makes sense, I had already run it through an on-line translator. They cope with words, but grammar and syntax are a bit beyond them, leaving my tiny brain so sort those out 🙂
Cheers. -
