And me
The first series, with it’s wide range of ages, backgrounds, and personalities, was interesting – and it was run more like a pseudo-psychological experiment.
The later series have just had a constant stream of juvenile wannabies – or maybe I’m just getting old

I haven’t come across HDD passwords before
[/quote1251288521]
The NC10’s BIOS has three levels of password control:
*Supervisor
*User
*HDD
I have set all three levels of BIOS passwords for the following reasons:
*Supervisor – stops my BIOS being accessed – either to the change the settings or by malicious code delivered by a viral attack – requested on booting into the BIOS.
*User – stops my Sammy being started – requested on warm and cold boots.
*HDD – stops my data being accessed, e.g. if my Sammy was lost or stolen, even if the HDD was removed – requested on cold boot.
MemberAnd the US charge of homicide does not necessarily imply ‘murder’ which is a form of criminal homicide.
“Although the term homicide is sometimes used synonymously with murder, homicide is broader in scope than murder. Murder is a form of criminal homicide; other forms of homicide might not constitute criminal acts.”

Am I correct in thinking you know what the HDD password is?
If so:
*Enter the BIOS by hitting the F2 key as your Sammy is starting.
*Navigate to the ‘Security’ tab.
*Navigate to the ‘Set HDD Password’ field and press the ‘Enter’ key.
*In the ‘Set HDD Password’ window, enter the current password in the ‘Enter Current Password’ field and press the ‘Enter’ key.
*Without typing any other characters, press the ‘Enter’ key twice to clear the current HDD password.
*You should now see that the HDD Password is ‘Clear’.
*if you wish to clear the ‘User Password’, repeat steps 3 to 5.
*if you wish to clear the ‘Supervisor Password’, repeat steps 3 to 5.
*Press the F10 key to ‘Save and Exit’.
*Select the ‘Yes’ option on the ‘Setup Confirmation’ window.
*Restart the computer.
TCMuffin

Cameron – When CM initialises the sim it attempts to identify and assign the correct profile from over 130 networks it has in its database based on the sim identification. Yours was probably set to profile 125 Australia

Even if it doesn’t resolve Byte’s issues – you’re amazing 🙂

As dockehr says, at least you have an explanation, if not a solution.
