I’d be inclined to take it straight back to the store where you bought it, see if they can get it going, and if not ask for an immediate replacement.

Many members (including me) have had problems with Samsung Update Plus and have uninstalled it.
Oh dear – it was so easy in our day (about 9 months’ ago) – the NC10’s battery life made it the ‘no brainer’.
Now – I’d probably go for a N140 😕

Hi Robosauce
To upgrade from XP you have to do a clean install which can be done from the upgrade version.
The only problem you may have is if you don’t have a Windows XP install CD as you will probably asked to use this CD during the install process.
You may wish to clarify this with Microsoft customer services.
