Badger says he’s really thrilled to have his own special mention on the forum, thank you, Doc 🙂By the way, we’re still miffed that Badger had so many more Christmas cards and presents than we did 🙁

MemberHi Tigerbright
Try downloading, installing, and running CCleaner to clean up the crap off your computer, check the windows registry for errors, and control which programs start when your Samsung starts. As a hint, I have only the Synaptics touchpad, antivirus software, and Bluetooth starting with my NC10.

What I got – a hard time. Might have something to do with the gift wrapped library books ……One of them turned out to be “How to Cook”

What on earth made you think this was a good idea 😕December 26, 2009 at 9:37 am in reply to: How to replace Windows XP with Windows 7 on the Restore Partition #208113TCMuffin
MemberI think this will be a really helpful thread. Would it be OK to make it a sticky thread, please FastLaneJB 😕

I drove down to spend Christmas with my youngest son and my two grandchildren ( who live with their mother 90 mile south of Oklahoma City). It’s a roaring winter blizzard outside: 45 mile per hour sustained winds with gusts up to 59 miles per hour and a snowfall rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour!!

I do hope you’ve been able to continue your journey, Doc, and if not, I hope they’re looking after you in that hotel 🙂TCMuffin
MemberAnd if it’s still under warranty, clean it all off, dry it, and return it to Samsung for repair 😉

do you reckon it’s best to dismantle before I try to power on?
[/quote1261770799]
It may be too late, but whatever you do, do not, I repeat do not attempt to turn it back on until you are absolutely certain that all residues of wine, alcohol, water, and everything else have been completely removed and that everything is completely and absolutely dry.TCMuffin

Perhaps it also functions as a hand warmer in these cold times 🙂

Jayne offers to take jeepers01’s MiFi off his hands for the price of a hand-warmer 😉December 25, 2009 at 7:46 pm in reply to: How to replace Windows XP with Windows 7 on the Restore Partition #208112TCMuffin
