s162000 MemberHi everybody just got my NC10… wow im so impressed! A PROPER netbook! Anybody tried setting driver memory footprint to high in the intel settings? I can’t say i’ve noticed much difference hopefully a new bios will allow us to allocate further memory….. Anyway the games i’ve tried: (Assume all at 800×600 32bit) GTA 1 (from Rockstar website) Runs perfect
GTA 3 – Runs near perfect, slight slowdown in busy frames.
GTA Vice City – Runs OK, slowdown in busy frames (down to 15fps) but playable
 GTA: SA – not playable
Return To Castle Wolfenstein – Runs OK, slowdown in busy frames
Star Trek Elite Force 1 – Runs perfect
Star Trek Elite Force 2 – Not playable
Jedi Outcast 2 – Near perfect on high settings
Project 64 1.6 – Depends on ROM. Goldeneye/Perfect Dark not playable but Lylat Wars runs perfect, as does Mario 64 and Mario Kart.
pSX – Runs perfectly mostly, I’ve been enjoying Crash Bandicoot! Oh and Time Crisis with mouse as guncon.
Kega Fusion/Zsnes – Run perfecly of course
Dos Box 0.72 – Runs most games of the 486 era well. E.G. Dark Forces/Theme Park. Currently enjoying Blake Stone Aliens Of Gold LOL
Grand Prix 3 – Runs perfect on software graphics (can somebody please test GP 4?)
DUKE 3d – Runs perfect (I use XDUKE)
Doom- Runs perfect (I use Legacy)
 Quake/Quake 2 – Runs perfect
Max Payne – Runs OK, slowdown sometimes (no joke) I’ve never played this game before i’m actually addicted
Serious Sam – Not playable! This ran on my Eee 701 ok not sure whats going on with that…?Thats it at the moment. The Intel drivers are dated Feb 2008 whats the history on Intel updating their intergrated drivers? Anybody got an eee 901 to compare?
