MemberDropbox (http://www.getdropbox.com) is good and does this silently in the background if you have less than 2Gb of files that need syncing (ie this is not good for large music or photo collections).

MemberThe download on this page is only 22k and works a treat, it just turns the monitor off on launching, reactivate by key press/trackpad – just put a shortcut in rocketdock / quick launch:

MemberJez – on the subject of quick hack – would it not be easy to just replicate the standard forum view that shows all the threads in the order of most recent post?
However, rather than just applying this to sub-forums (eg General Discussion), have a view that looks through sub-folders and just lists all posts sorted by the most recent post (keeping the same standard view / columns).
Sounds simple, but not sure this is possible / easy in e107!

MemberI personally think the new/prototype design looks great – I am reasonably happy with the current trackpad and two finger scrolling, but I still find the larger trackpad on my old laptop a joy to use in comparison. Can’t see smaller buttons being a problem, as long as it easy to ‘feel’ for them.
I never got used to the nipple on my work thinkpad – surprised anyone prefers it!!

MemberThanks Jez – that link you posted helps.
Did you have a look at the msiwind forum link? That site (and many others) just lists all threads in the forums in order of when the most recent post was – ie there is no cut-off looking at your last log-in. It can thus be used without logging in.
It just displays 40 or 50 threads per page with next buttons.
Your solution currently displays new posts rather than new threads. It may be better to just show the display as if in standard forum viewing mode, ie by thread, and with number of replies and last post columns…..
Carry on the good work!
