That was worth a shot, but I turned the power button on, it lit up blue and then I pressed F2 and nothing happened. I held it down, let up, kept pressing it and nothing still. It’s odd, because there is absolutely no noise coming from the thing. No fan or other normal start up noises that a laptop usually makes.
Thanks for the info though, if you hear of any other issues or solutions like this, please let me know.
We have a 15 month old Samsung N150 and have the same issue. One of our employees was playing a game and the battery died. When he plugged it in and tried to turn it on, the screen was black. I have it plugged in now, and the green indicator light that says it is plugged in is on, as well as the blue “Power” indicator, meaning the laptop is currently “On”….but the screen is black. I can’t see paying hundreds of dollars for repair on a laptop that only cost $300 new.
