fcat MemberMost Sammys are fitted with the Western Digital 160gb scorpio blue drive, i fitted a 320 as they didnt have the 500 in stock, works like a charm fcat Memberi believe 500gb is the biggest 2.5″ drive available at the moment, the one you want is the Western Digital blue scorpio 500gb drive, it sels for about £89 to £90 fcat MemberAll the pictures ive seen of the “new” NC10 so far have the US keyboard wth the longer right shift key and the @ sign ib the number 2 key fcat MemberIf nothgin else it certainly sounds like theyve either been reading what people have been saying about the NC10 online or knew this all along and just want us all the sell them on and then buy the new one 🙂 fcat Member[quote1234124946=20Syl]

Does it say anything about 3G/HSDPA?
[/quote1234121034]Nothing about it. Just touchpad and battery. [quote1234121034=fcat]
Looks like theyve reduced the size of the mouse button ?
[/quote1234121034]Depends on point of view, it seems larger to me. and pretty close to the “outside”. [/quote1234124946] Sorry i meant it looked thinner, you can see they have removed the 3 or 4mm of casing between the mouse pad and the mouse button and maybe “eaten” in to the mouse button a touch and also looks like theyve gone 3 or 4mm nearer to the keyboard. Also possible changed the mouse button to silver ? as it reflects the same colour on the white and picture. fcat MemberAlso says on the other link the screen is a gloss shiney one! fcat MemberLooks like theyve reduced the size of the mouse button ? Yeah it is true that there shouldn’t be any massive draw to the NC20 for NC10 owners – unless someone has found the NC10 just too small to use!If anyone gets them both I look forward to the comparison!
[/quote1233825949]Im gonna get the NC20 when released purely because ive found working and using the NC10 is causing me eye strain and giving me headaches with the screen being only 10″ my NC10 replaced a Philips Freevents 11″ laptop that i didnt have any eye strain probems with so im hoping the NC20 will cure that, however im not letting my NC10 go before trying the NC20 out for a couple of weeks. fcat Memberi cant answer everything but : I instaled the Western Digital 320 Hard drive, only because they didnt have the 500 in stock, i think your oinly governed by the size thats avaioable! 320 works flawlessly. Id put 2GB of RAM in straight away, its a no brainer at the price it is. No idea about the WIFI thing as ive not had a problem but why not get a USB wifi dongle ? I installed XP pro, used a enxternal USB CD drive, just select boot from CD drive in the bios and its like any other instalation. No ide bout the service pack install, my XP Pro has service pack 2 on it and when oaded up i just installed the windows updates which installed SP3. fcat MemberThanks! looks like theyve not only moved the SD card slot but theyve recessed it back a bit so when a card is inserted it doesnt protrude outside of the footprint of the laptop, good move!! its as good as having it along the side. fcat MemberSo what did you make of last nights Lost ? heres a pic we took of the Hydrogen bomb tower while there!! I dont want to say anythgin till i know youve watched it! fcat MemberThere is another way if you can find the correct code: fcat Member[quote1233180038=Camo Yoshi]
Ah, yes. Good ‘ol KetyTweak. Best keyboard remapper ever, IMO. But you do have to reboot for changes to take effect, but that’s not too hard. 😛
[/quote1233180038]No you dont, just log off and then back on, works fine:) fcat Member
