yes – i have right clicked CCleaner and see 2 options – my current user account (already assigned) and ‘other user’.
i cannot see any text saying ‘run as administrator’.
i don’t know what this means.
yes, McAfee has been removed with the tool ‘sammyone’ refers to.
I have confrmed that my user account does have admin rights. WHy then is it still telling me I need to have admin rights to effect the changes at startup (SynTPEnh & DMLoader in startup)?
I cannot determine how CCleaner can enable me to select SynTPEnh & DMLoader in startup.

I too have just downloaded HD Tune as well.
I see my stock HDD with the following operating specs:
44 MB/S average
26ms average
7% CPU usage
46 deg CThese seem low.
What are the specs for the oem HDD?
