Thanks mate!
With the huge blast of tablets and new age netbooks on the market these days, what do you use your NC10 nowadays for?
Just curious…

ByteMemberTHanks Jeepers.
I would like to purchase the US KB.
I notice on this link
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Keyboard-4-SAMSUNG-NP-N130-NP-NC10-N110-US-Black-/170621585796that the ‘Enter’ key is a different (smaller) size (for the US keyboard) when compared to the UK version (which is larger).
If I purchased this US KB for my NC10, would I have any issues with the ‘Enter’ key?

ByteMemberTHanks Jeepers.
ByteMemberok – i have reinstalled current drivers – and still no change to kb issues.
if i was to re-install os – what is the best way of going about this for the nc10?
byte
ByteMemberhi jeepers.
i was able to source those drivers – but now the stickie that explained how to install these drivers has now disappeared – with the new forum format. do u know where i can find this stickie?

ByteMemberThanks Jeepers.
If I was to order a whole new KB, where could I get it from and I also understand that a possible new / updated version of keyboard could be used?
Byte
ByteMemberHow best do I re-install all the drivers on the NC10 – as I too have the smae problem?
Where / how do I obtian this complete list of drivers and hwo best to re-install them?
Cameron
ByteMemberthanks.
Any thoughts on point 2?
Cameron
ByteMember…so, what was the problem with the wiring?
What did you actually do to fix this problem?
Sorry for seemingly dumb question..
Cameron
ByteMemberWOW.
Can u elaborate on your issues?
How shoudl I begin to reinstall drivers?
Byte
ByteMembermany thanks Tofer.
i read elsewhere that i can run a DC-DC Converter straight from the cigarette lighter in the car to run my Dell Mini 9 Computer which woudl be more efficient. Woudl this also apply to my NC10?
Byte
ByteMemberthanks guys – the joys of life….
Do you want some more drama???
My 10yo daughter worked out her friend’s password to her private email account (on her Dell mini btw :-(), hacked in and sent an email (under her friend’s profile/name, etc) to my personal email account telling me “….I do not like you and ask if you can go out when I come around to play…..”.
I responded to this email (thinking it was my daughter’s friend) asking her to explain what she means and that we all need to talk about it, blah blah…
Shite hit the fan last night when the friend rang up asking if we knew anything about it. I put 2 and 2 together. BANG! I ‘ve been had by my 10 yo daughter and has made a big mistake by committing a bit of “innocent” Fraud. Needless to say, both mums were not too impressed and daughter has been punished accordingly but we have also recognised the creativity and level of risk she has displayed (which is good) 🙂
The wonderful world of computing……
Anyway, I digress… 🙂

i will confirm with telstra (my isp) over the next few days and get back to you.
I know I have signed up for a Telstra 25GB plan but do nto recall what speed I am contracted for :
It is either BigPond® Turbo ADSL 1500/256kbps
or
BigPond Elite ADSL 20000/1000kbps or 8000/384kbps

Yes, I have tried to reborrt the router a few times.
OK – I have a slow connection it seems – but I can still watch some utube videos without any buffer freezing/loading – for a smooth watch.
Is there a way to determine the bitrate of Youtube videos before (or anytime) watching them ?
