MemberBeing the suspicions type, I wonder if they installed anything ‘unwanted’ on your computer. If it was me I would use the recovery disk to get back to the Samsung vanilla install.

MemberI love this game, managed to get to level 1500 on Easy and level 600 on Ace.
Still play it nearly every day, it’s so addictive. Tried installing it on Win 7 and it’s not happy at all, wouldn’t complete the install. 🙁Billy Rubin

And if you’re interested in books about how to get the most from Photoshop, you may be interested in Scott Kelby’s recipe books.
[/quote1233951688]Thanks for the link.
So many books and DVD’s, so little time and money… ;-DBilly Rubin

I’ve not bothered to upgrade to CS4 – CS3 does everything, and more than, I need 🙂
[/quote1233944334]Have you seen the Bert Monroy ‘Pixel Perfect’ video podcasts from Revision 3?, they are Photoshop tutorials from the guy who wrote the book (literally, Bert co-authored The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook, which was the first book on Photoshop and the only one for almost two years.).
http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/If you want to see what he does with Photoshop – http://www.bertmonroy.com/ – be prepared to be amazed.

MemberI Love TweakUI, it’s a shame it doesn’t work with Vista/Win 7.

MemberIt’s reported as a brand new site by ‘Netcraft’ with a red risk rating, I would really be very wary.
As an example, this site SammyNetbook.com is listed as Jan 2009 and it’s risk rating is green.

MemberI love the Discworld series, it seems unfair that someone so talented should be struck down with a disease that affects the very tools he needs to be creative. The programme was moving as TC says, I was especially saddened when he stumbled over reading Nation at the convention. Shades of things to come…

MemberThe C drive is the wrong place to store personal data. As has already been said, if Windows crashes you won’t lose your video’s, photo’s etc if the My Documents folder is on a separate partition.

Quick HU – Lightroom 2.3 is available from Adobe Labs – it’s a Release Candidate but well tested, so I think I’ll go for it 🙂
[/quote1233826778]Downloading as I type. 😀

MemberI tend to reinstall Windows every six months or so from a Ghost (now True Image) backup to get rid of all the rubbish it’s accrued. So when the Win 7 Beta stops working I’ll revert to my image of XP SP3 unless Win 7 has been released.

MemberI think the NC20 is aimed at a slightly different market, I don’t see it as a replacement for the NC10.

MemberI had problems with Lightroom 2.2, some of the window’s are too big for the screen and I couldn’t see a way of making them smaller.
