ParticipantSarge501 – Are you running a dual boot system XP/Win7 32bit?
If so EDM will only run with this tweak.
Choose the Samsung Optimised Power Plan
Hope this helps

Memberyeah i did, i didnt work out. then i reinstalled windows and the other programs and now it works! Thanks again Jeepers for the hint with the wrong file path… without u I would have smashed the computer by now 😀
But just one more question: Which specific graphic driver do u use, since the one from the v1.2 driverpack is a few months old now… thanks in advance.

ParticipantSarge501 – Your welcome
Glad it’s all up and running now 🙂
Not sure about the driver for VIA as I have an NC10 with Intel graphics chipset, but if it’s working well with the one you have there is probably no need to change it
My motto is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it 🙂

Memberthats the problem… I experience some minor problems with the vga…
first: opening & closing windows in win7 is quite jerky (normal for a netbook?)
second: during videoplayback (normal divx avi etc… no 720p or HD) the computer gets a little slow. E.g. while watching a video in full screen mode, using and moving the mouse causes the video to stutter… never had that under XP.
I did install the driver from the v1.2 pack when I first installed W7. After experiencing the above stated problems I tried the latest driver from the via website. Still the problem remains. Any ideas?

MemberSolved the aero problem by editing the aero settings: turned off the glass-function and animations when opening and closing windows. navigating is much smoother now and preview-function in the taskbar is still available. LOVE IT NOW.

ParticipantSarge501 – That’s a strange problem, you shouldn’t have to change the aero settings each time the sammy is used, it must be a bit annoying.
Still if it’s running better it may be worth putting up with the inconvenience until a fix is found 🙂September 12, 2011 at 10:33 pm #201954kumho
MemberBump!
Old post, but the link for the driverpack doesn’t work anymore. Could someone upload it somewhere or send it to me, please?
