Home › Forums › Operating Systems › Windows 7 › Win 7 Ultimate severely slow on N145, suggestions to speed it up?
Hi all,
I have a new N145 netbook and I upgraded the Win 7 Starter to Ultimate. I’ve changed the “Personalize” settings to Windows Classic desktop to get rid of Aero. Is there anything else I can do to speed things up a little?… besides upgrading the RAM (adding 1GB to make it a total of 2GB on Wednesday) and switching out the hard drive for an SSD (entirely too expensive right now).
Thanks.

Hope this helps
Have got all of the correct drivers installed, as I had an N145 with Win 7 Pro and 1 Gb RAM and it was very nippy?
