I know this is off topic but after viewing the photos on flickr,i have to know is your cat doing o.k?I’m a cat lover and ashamed to see it has a tumour 🙁

It’s surprising how hard it is to come by pictures of the blue NC10, even considering that it was only recently released. Photos of the black units seemed to hit Flickr as soon as they popped up in stores.
i dont see wot the big fuss is over the blue one, i have a white one and i think it looks so much smarter than blue, the white stands out more, the blue one just looks like any other netbook.

[/quote1227657166]Sadly, Ziggy had to be put to sleep just under a month ago. It was a very aggressive tumour and didn’t give us much time with him. 🙁

[/quote1227657171]The lid does seem to attract fingerprints and they can be quite noticeable, but probably not as much as with the black. I tend to hold it from underneath or at the sides to avoid this as much as possible but a quick wipe sorts them out if they do appear.

Thanks for the photos and high-res at that. The blue one looks amazing. I’m not so fond of that particular blue (prefer dark blue), but it looks great still. If we don;t get a black one here in the States this year, I might just get the blue one.

Hey Becky congrats on the blue version it really does look good no wonder your chuffed. I was going for the blue version then changed my mind and went for the black. As you said earlier each to their own but now looking at the blue would have been just as happy with that. Enjoy
Blue does look very nice indeed, however, I tend to like my items to match, and the only matching item I would have to a blue NC10 would be my cobalt blue DS Lite.
I went for black as it matches most other items I own; and due to the fact that I am waiting on the black, with white around the middle, LG external DVD drive.

[/quote1227711363]The colour only shows up that bright under good lighting, sitting here on my desktop it looks a very dark midnight blue. The inside, being matte, looks even darker still, I’d probably describe it as a deep slate colour.
I’ll see if I can get a good “true-colour” photo for you. 🙂
