I have an N130 and upgraded XP to Windows 8. But then filled my harddrive. I had a 25gb partition that was mostly empty.
So decided to boot into the SRS admin tool and re-define the partition structure. But now im stuck!
It asks me if I want to use the Windows 7 structure? I said yes. But now I have four partitions!
Recovery 10gb
System 100mb
Windows 25gb
TEMP_PART01 200gb
Is the recovery the actual windows backup?
Is system the SRS software?
And can I merge Windows and TEMP_PART01 and install windows there?
I understand Windows 7 saw a new partition structure but I dont know what changed.
Many thanks
I tried merging them and it didnt wrk.
So I installed it as if I were installing XP.
10gb Hidden
25gb NTFS
200gb To install windows
Is the ntfs partition just to store the backups on? I only want to do one and its 5.5gb
How much of the 10gb gets used? I know 10/15gb are standard factory figures but do they really need to be that big?
Many thanks
