Hello to everyone!!!
So glad to have found this site. Thanks a million.
My Blue Sammy is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Just hoping and praying that I do not get the famous accursed blotches ughh!
I am a bit confused on how to partition the drive. I will post another thread in the appropiate area.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you re: blotches! If it’s any reassurance I got mine on Saturday and it was blotch-free. Let’s hope it’s something in the manufacturing process that is getting sorted out now.

Basically, music storing and burning(cds, mp3’s) Digital picture album to show off to fam and friends, some matching, card games, the occasional document or letter, watching dvd’s once I get the ext. dvd player. AND of course to surf surf surf till daddy took the sammy away lol (reference to beach boys song, fun fun fun till daddy takes the t-bird away) maybe all you guys ar too young to know it sorry couldn’t resist the reference. Anyhow, thanks to all and thanks for investing your time to greet me. LOVING THIS SITE!!!
I’ll also cross my fingers for the screen health of your new sammy. Mine arrived from Newegg Tuesday and (sigh of relief), it is blotch free!
I play cards too on my Sammy, along with various other indie games, match-3 and seek-and-find etc. I usually get them from reflexive.com and the Sammy is absolutely perfect for this kind of usage.

There are some pop tracks that are sure to be around for many many decades to come. And others that are forgotten as soon as they are heard. Or at least you wish that was the case!
But, you’ve made me interested in what the age demographic of this site is – time to set a new poll perhaps!

Welcome to the site Sammysgrl! I got the reference and I’m in my 20s; even without the actual line from the song 😉 Shame on you Jez, I expected more from you! lol I wonder how many others got the reference?Oh I know the tune (although might not have got the reference if it hadn’t been spelt out!) – I’ve been humming it all afternoon – grrrr!

Well not quite but I do remember the Beach Boys and some of their later hits, mainly from table surfing in various late night establishments around Manchester in the late 70’s and early 80’s with equally stupid (and inebriated) friends!
