Now don’t take this the wrong way, but…. you have just explained that you have had at least 3 problems with Orange mobile phones, so shouldn’t the award actually go to the provider who supplies most problem free phones, thus having the fewest needs to call them?

Hi mauritsius, and especially welcome because I have been convinced that there is a BIOS downgrade path that no-one had discovered. I am not clever enough to figure it out BTW, but you obviously are.
There is a BIOS sticky in the ‘Hacks and Mods’ section, perhaps your thread could be added there.
A question though; what prompted you to go back to 9 from 10?
Just to be Devil’s advocate – I have tried both glossy and matte, I prefer the matte. I would suggest trying to view both in a shop to see how you feel, if possible.

Well, I seem to be the 71st viewer of this thread. What springs to my mind is that the restore is being attempted to the hidden 8Gb system partition itself rather than the main drive partition. Or it is seeing no partition at all.
‘Fraid I must agree with Jayne. The N310 is rather ‘form over function’, which is why Samsung are reluctant to provide a ‘sticky out’ battery for something designed as it is.
