MemberHi Vertigo,
It seems that maybe you have missed a screw, maybe a keyboard one? Youtube has various vids showing how to dismantle Samsung netbooks, that may help.

MemberWelcome to the forum jitu.

MemberSamsung have a history of using different brand HDDs in the same model, so maybe all NB30s won’t come with the same make either.

MemberWelcome to the forum kitbit,
You weren’t the first, and most likely not the last. I did that in an Acer, where accessing the RAM slot meant a total dismantle, there was no handy little removable cover on the bottom.

MemberYou´re welcome, I hope it goes well if you give it a go.

MemberHi common rail,
I have no use for WMP so I don´t use it, but Googling your issue seems to show that you are not alone with WMP problems. I didn´t actually see a definitive answer either. Deleting the library to force a rebuild or a reinstall of WMP appear to be the closest, but I suggest you have a look for yourself before deciding what might be the favoured course of action.
Unless someone has the answer here 🙂

MemberI still predict that they are a fad.
Apple have done a superb marketing job this time, and others will jump on the bandwagon to take advantage, naturally. But tablets have come and gone before, they are either massive phones or one handed notebooks without a keyboard.
Now there´s me, sticking my neck out! Time will tell :p

MemberYes, jeepers mentioned here that he has been as well, so I don´t think it is just me. Read a post, go do a bit of research, come back and post a reply – “You need to be logged in to post”. Er, yeah I was.
There is the sorting issue on a couple of forums, notably this one and the Applications forum which need looking at too please Jez. They both sort alphabetically rather than by date following the rules we set in our User Control Panel.
Add the NB30, N127, N150, N210, N220, N230, N315, NC10+, NF110, NF210 Forum to the non-sorting list too, I just looked there now.

MemberCool 🙂 we like a happy ending. Thanks for reporting back, all fixes are worth knowing in case someone else has a similar issue.

MemberBasically it doesn’t have the graphics capability to do so. There is a thread in the Hacks and Mods forum about adding a decoder to enable it.

MemberI have found that the rather rapid auto log out does not mean losing a post just written, log back in from the page it takes you to and you go back to that post 🙂 BUT all unread posts are then shown as read. It’s a bit of a bu**er finding the new posts after that.

MemberNot as easy to find as RAM replacement videos I see, this is the closest I could find, on an Acer Aspire One, the principles should be similar.
You will notice that he also upgraded the RAM, that is what I had to do to my Aspire One when I had it. Oh you lucky, lucky Samsung owners, with your little trap door in the bottom!

MemberHmm, now I am beginning to wonder if people are actually looking for a reason or purpose to buy a tablet just for the sake of having one.
I am sure I must be wrong though 😉
tonytb
MemberI wonder if other manufacturers have such stoic fans of their debut netbooks.
