i hate the 13amp plug cord then the huge brick and then the lead so bought one of these on ebay, it arrived this morning and its FAR better, just thought id pass the info on. Only twelve quid and took 4 days to arrive from HK.
[/quote1239214453]Looks good, always handy to have a spare. Also good if you’re using the mains a lot.

He’s a funny guy.On a side note, I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing Suzi a speedy recovery. Sadly She had suffered a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and was bleeding internally when she was rushed to hospital. She is now home and recovering.

It’s just like What Hi-Fi. They review certain items and give them a glowing review, whereas “actual” review sites give a mediocre rating and the consumer is left wondering who to believe. If anyone isn’t aware, they should never rely on What Hi-Fi’s reviews, as they are pure muck; the same goes for CNET.I find the best way to find out about a certain product is to talk to people who actually own the product and use it day in, day out. For instance, I’ve read reviews of Phillips LCD TVs from the likes of What Hi-Fi and Stuff Magazine and they waxed lyrical on how great the video quality was, how accurate the colour reproduction was etc, only to then find evidence from helpful forum users that they found the video quality dire, the colour accuracy questionable, response time extremely slow, intrusive ghosting etc, which were left out, or unnoticed, in the reviews from the aforementioned sites. In addition, going to review sites that do correct testing on the TVs’ abilities reveal the same issues the forum users found, thus corroborating the users’ evidence.
Now, I understand that some manufacturers send companies review samples of their products, that would not necessarily be an exact match to the retail product to garner higher ratings/scores, but I am not talking about one or two reviews here, I am talking about numerous reviews across the board of products such as Blu-ray players, LCD and Plasma TVs, mobile phones, laptops etc.
So in closing, for those who are looking for factual reviews without all the hyperbole and marketing, look to forums and independent reviews sites for accurate information and only go to the likes of What Hi-Fi, CNET and Stuff if you want to see which companies paid the most for their products’ high ratings.

Brilliant stuff – I cried with laughter when Shat picked up that polystyrene stone – I knew the monster would go for a rather larger rock !lolOh and the fight scene might have been better in the second clip – but those haircuts !lol – and the meat hook – awesome !lol
Put your coat back on the rack, Steve. Move away from the coat rack. Good 🙂

MemberVGA = Analogue signal
DVI = Digital signalIt recognised the Toshiba because it had a compatible digital output, the NC10 does not.
You need a converter to get from analogue to digital. This has been discussed in the forum already, it’s not cheap sorry pal.
s162000
Member7000-odd votes for the Asus and 45 for the NC10, you have got to be kidding? I bet that’s EEE forum members who have no life.
