MemberFair play to Brawn, but whenever I see the Brawn car I just think of Honda money. On the other hand I don’t think the Brawn would be quite so far ahead without that Mercedes engine deal. The Honda engine was pretty limp last year.
I think Button has the car and the experience to do it. I think he will win less and less races as Ferrari get stronger but the points advantage he has will be difficult to overcome. The only other challengers will be Red Bull, Toyota seem to have fallen off a bit. Will Jenson be the last winner of the ‘proper’ F1 Championship this year……?

Occasionaly the internal search (ie here) does give better results but it only searches specific content fields in the db. Google spiders everything!.
[/quote1243430533]
I find the internal search quite limited – especially the minimum number of characters – which means you can’t search for stuff like RAM ~:(
[/quote1243502359]Yes, there are a lot of 3 letter abbreviations in the computer world aren’t there?

But I can’t see him changing so if he does stick around I suspect it won’t be for long! We’ll see.

[/quote1243502262]Lol, I wondered where he had gone! That Lego thread got a bit out of hand didn’t it 😀

MemberCould be a few things… try disabling your wireless connection and then reboot? Also do you have any usb drives/memory cards inserted whilst it is booting slowly? Any applications you have installed recently that could be causing this?

Personally it wouldn’t be about gaming it’s the ability to have extra oomph for those tasks that need it.
[/quote1243427446]A HDMI output and enough ‘oomph’ to output 1080p would be a welcome feature 😉

Cool, let me get a new page up, the NC10 games page can stay but we’ll move the list.Call the page “Samsung Netbook N-Series Games List”? Im pretty sure (or at least hope) the next gen netbooks will need a new list :D!
[/quote1243417185]Thanks Jez. If I have time I will go through the games that play sticky in the games forum and update the N-Series Games List, then we can remove the current sticky and replace it with a link to the Wiki. How about a sticky in the games section encouraging people to share their game playabilty findings in the Wiki?

The Help for Editors is useful.I’ll do the NC10 ‘Getting Started’ page tomorrow.
[/quote1243416931]Good idea with the getting started page 🙂

any directx9/10 games .. ion is probably like like generation 6-7 of geforce. older, slower, but extremly high performing compared to current netbooks.
[/quote1243416823]Agreed, Doom 3, Half Life 2, Farcry, Quake 4 spring to mind. I’m excited! 😉

Another point, it is worth using the “preview” button before submitting anything. It is generally preferable to commit bigger correct changes rather than making lots of small ones with lots of corrections.
[/quote1243345860]Ok , no problem Jez. I added a spec sheet for the N110 this morning, copied the NC10 order and modified it. Can you point me in the direction of some Wiki-editing reading material? With regards to the screenshot of GTA, yes you’re right a box with a caption would be great!
Regarding emphasis on working games I think you’re right. However I was thinking, what about having a ‘general’ working games list that had all of the games but also had a column for each Samsung netbook and the current playabilty on that netbook. I think this would make a great cross reference point. It would also save us repeating ourselves in every netbook section, as generally the gaming performances are identical across the range of netbooks.

Anybody got an old Mondeo, arc welder, 65″ plasma TV, and a sub woofer 😕

MemberI added a ram upgrade guide in the NC10 section and some pictures here and there. The ram guide was a recycle of the guide Jez did a while back. I also started the N110 section. Jez is it possible you could put a link to the netbook portal on the far left pane under navigation, this would make it easier to navigate the Wiki?
