So, looks like I’m going to get myself a Nexus. It was between the 7″ Inch Tab 2 and the Nexus 7 and to be frank the cheaper price of the Google Tablet won out. Still no sign of the Kindle Fire in the UK and I didn’t want to go for one of the non-branded imports so there we are.
Pre orders are being taken, should be sent out in a week or two!
I started a nexus 7 blog, won’t be anything major but I’ll use it to post up any hints and tips I come across.
Anyone else getting one or been enjoying a different tablet?
Got a Nexus 7 to replace my 3 year old nc10, the screen broke a few months ago and although I could replace it for £50 ish i felt it was time to move onto tablets, the Nexus 7 is such a bargain for the specs. I did own a Galaxy Tab2 7″ but sold it as the graphics chip was pretty poor, Tegra 3 is definitely the way forward. Will have to check out your new site! How are you finding the Nexus 7?

No problems with Skype here, I use headphones when making a call usually. It works on pretty slow connections too.
The Back To The Future trilogy is my all time favourite bunch of films. Can’t wait until it’s out on Bluray. I only have Ghostbusters on Blu at the moment.
I think I will be buying the Bluray versions of new releases from now on as there is usually extra content on those. The Star Wars trilogy on Bluray will be something to behold!
