It is plugged in ! But thanks anyway. Samsung Digicare escalation team are due to call me for the second time since I have purchased the netbook in Nov. It should take 5 working days for them to contact me, tomorrow is the 5th !!, if I don’t include the working day that I raised the call on (complete and utter joke!)
The netbook is back, the battery has been replaced with all checks passed ok? I am currently looking at the charge on the battery using batterybar and it is a constant 26%.
How long should I need to leave it switched off to see an increase in charge, as I am not convinced the problem has been resolved.

Santa’s Elves(!) have just returned the N110 :-). The motherboard has been replaced. So far so good, so fingers crossed it won’t happen again.

I have experienced an indentical problem with my daughter xmas present 🙁 We took delivery on the 19th Nov, everything appeared fine, we then to turn it on last night to finalise the setup and nothing.
The power button will not turn on the netbook, with or without battery. I rang support who also couldn’t help. It is now booked in for repair as DixonsWebSales will not refund as it is outside the 28days!
