The N 220 which you can buy in Europe doesn`t have a 3 G modem (yet?). The slot is there, but there is no modem behind it.

The information on the samsung-site are very confusing (like the data about the battery…).

It depends on your contract and SIM which services you can use. Where do you live? In Germany usually you can use your normal 3 G SIM (U-SIM) for data traffic with high speed (UMTS), or an older SIM with GPRS. But I don’t know the market in USA, maybe there are big differences.

A couple of months ago I thought about buying the N 140 with win XP because of the missing features of win 7. A seller told me that it’s worth to wait for the n 220.
The n 220 is offered only with win 7, so what do you think, does it make sense to downgrade to win XP?

Yes, that’s what I understood, too, but I thought, that the only difference is the layout of the keyboard. Or do you know any further details (especially regarding my questions above?
