EDS is not installed, only Easy Display Manager. It’s not sticky keys, because activating sticky keys doesn’t give any sound at all. It beeped today while running on battery and the beep was about a second long.
Maybe it would be a good idea to switch to Linux and test if there will be any beeping there?
My Samsung NC10 is peeping (or beeping) quite often. Beeping occurs usually once in a session, while doing pretty average tasks. Today it beeped while reading this thread 🙂 .
Temperatures were normal, low CPU load, connected to AC. Beep was quite short, usually I get longer beeps. Here’s the SMART info my the hard drive http://www.hddstatus.com/hdrepshowreport.php?ReportCode=4279927&ReportVerification=25AD8B1F .
It would be really nice to find out why does those beeps occur.
