So the Epic is a re-branded Galaxy S? Good to hear you are liking it so far.
Battery life is something that has put me off a smartphone thus far as I am so bad at remembering to charge! My current phone lasts all week and when I need to make a call I need that power to be there!
That said, I’m sure I’ll be getting a new phone sooner or later 😉
I would also think this is worth a call to Samsung support. When my NC10 screen packed up I had a very positive experience getting it replaced under the warranty.

The New Posts Column on the main forum page updates erratically and often does not list latest posts although there are newer ones contained within the forums.
Could be a bug to raise over at vBulletin support. Might be a caching issue actually.
I understand that some people have run the full blown Photoshop on their netbook, a search for “photoshop” should yield some posts on the topic. I think the biggest problem is that the screen size can be limiting – so it wouldn’t be a lot of fun to edit a whole batch. Although you can plug in a larger screen if you have one. And a mouse!
I use http://www.getpaint.net/ on mine and it works fine. It’s my preferred free editor.

Agreed, it’s hard to see how the plus models fit into things. I guess they’ll sell a few but anyone who does their research is surely either going to go for a cheaper NF110 or go for the NF310 which by far looks the most interesting netbook Samsung have released for ages. And that’s before you start looking at the competition!

Generally the key here is to make sure you get the right type of RAM, brand/speed won’t really make a difference. Might be worth getting a recognised name (Kingston/Crucial/Corsair etc) if you want to make sure it is reliable but other than that you won’t notice any performance differences.There’s a blog post on the N220 Ram upgrade.
Do you like it on the widescreen? I find each post is stretched into one long line!
vb4 has some nice admin controls for changing the colour theme without needing to do any coding/css etc – although by the time I get round to it everyone will be used to this style!
