MemberVery little as far as I know – pick the one you think looks best!
I think the only real choice right now is whether to spend a bit more and get one of the dual core models such as the new NF series.

MemberIf you do replace it, any tips/photos on the operation would be greatfully received!

MemberHi! 🙂
jez
MemberNo worries on the bumping. Might make a blog post out of this.
So did you try again?
Anyone get a photo of Android on a Sammy?

MemberWe try to be international! But it is true, most people are from the UK and US here.
Apologies for the spam restrictions but you wouldn’t believe how much spam I have to deal with – it can be 100s a day 🙁

MemberHi heather, im not familiar with your specific hardware but there are a few posts around the site about wireless problems:

MemberI think Fred covers the points perfectly. Like he says you can prob find more chat about each point around the forum – there are plenty of threads on AV software and RAM upgrades for example!
Many people go for the free AVG or MSE.
2GB upgrade.. for the price I’d go for it.
Welcome to the forum 🙂

MemberIf you find one, or fancy working on one then let me know! Would be great to share it here. There are a few NC10 tips around which will be about as close to the N110 as you’ll get.

Memberpossibly, try hitting the “go advanced” button, that should take you to the full editor with all the buttons. Is this what you mean?

MemberPah yeah, the most depressing think about running an international forum is seeing how much everyone else gets to pay for their netbook!
Great photos! Would you mind if I used one or two on the site (with full credit of course!).
jez
MemberI actually have the 1st Midtown Madness somewhere around – I used to love that game. I seem to remember the 2nd one was a little more demanding on resources so if that one runs OK…
What was the performance like?
jez
MemberYep had something similar ages ago on my NC10! And that was years ago! When I did get my NC10 repaired under warranty they didn’t ask me anything other than where to pick it up from so it didn’t seem to matter. Obviously your experience may vary!
How are you finding the N350? Does it seems to have enough grunt?!
jez
MemberI’d consider both as new models and both seem to be on a par having the dual core N550 atom processor. To be honest they are very similar so I don’t think you’d regret getting one and not the other.
On the other hand the NF310’s higher res screen would make a difference. I don’t find 600 horizontal lines to be too restrictive on my NC10 but there are times when they extra height would definitely be very welcome. If I knew the NF310 was coming in a month (for example) I’d be tempted to wait, but given the lack of information I’d probably just go and buy one of the models you mentioned (I’d definitely go for dual core myself!).
Like I say, the lower res screen is by no means unusable and if you think the N350/NF210 is going to do what you need then just go for it! My NC10 has been my most used “gadget” ever and one of the best value purchases I’ve made!!
jez
MemberYikes, I think if smoke is coming out of your netbook then the problem goes a little beyond the scope of our little forum!
Are you in the UK? digicare.co.uk are the official repair peeps so will be able to help (for a fee as out of warranty!). I suspect though it might be more economical to buy a new one – although one would think these PCs should last longer than that :(.November 16, 2010 at 10:35 am in reply to: Where to buy N310 replacement batteries in Singapore? #217082jez
MemberThanks for reporting back webaids, so did you buy one? How much did the N310 orginally cost in S$?
It always seems harder to get the right colour battery if you have a netbook that isnt white or black!
