Participant[quote1258487566=fivelittlefish]I recently put 2gb in my Windows 7 machine – can’t say I’ve noticed any difference…[/quote1258487566]
Welcome to the forum
I think your right, for general use there is no significant difference but load up some heavy duty apps and have lots of browser windows open etc. then it will help.For Win 7 it is recommended to go to 2GB (I have) but there is at least one user on the forum that says his machine actually is faster with 1GB, so the jury is out at the moment. 🙂

ParticipantAh yes the ION LE tweak and now Flash 10.1 has been released – the N510 owners must be ‘made up’ 😀

Any recommendations for partitioning (size) the hard drive on my new N310?? Thanks
[/quote1258458688]
I’ve stuck with the out of the box default installation sizes on our machines. I personally did not see any reason to change them as it suits my useage profile. However different split sizes may suit your storage needs better so there is no one rule that fits all 🙂Hope this helps

my huwaei EM770 arrived this morning have installed it and win 7 needed some help finding the correct drivers but installed never the less, th only trouble im having now is i need a generic connection manager, as the telstra one wont recognise it any suggerstions?
[/quote1258455471]
You should be able to get the driver from the Huawei download site together with their connection software.You could also use the Samsung Connection Manager which is available in XP only from the Samsung Downloasd site. Run it in Vista compatibility mode in Win 7 but do not install the driver that comes with the download package as it may (will) not suit your EM770 card and will try and re-flash it.
Another option is to create a Dial Up Networking (DUN) connection in windows and that may be all that is required to connect to the Telstra network and will save the bulk of the other connection managers but won’t give you acces to messaging.
This thread discusses Telstra and may be helpful
Hope this helps

Participantlokiju – There is a guide in this post for the NC10 but the N140 is very similar and the same principles apply.
Samsung NC10 2gb Ram Upgrade Guide[youtube]lkIJE901vFM[/youtube]
There is an N140 video guide here but it is in German language
Hope this helps and good luck, it is easy to do, try not to touch the ram module contacts with your fingers 🙂

Normally you can make your own password up – ie. 1234 or something a bit more secure. The procedure is enter your password and then you will be prompted to enter the same password on the other device being connected.Hope this helps
