Not knowing what options were chosen in the Windows Doctor operation I see a couple of alternatives to try first off
1. Run Windows Doctor again and reverse the last operation, or
2. Use Windows Restore to go back to an earlier system restore point to a date before Windows Doctor was used. There are instructions for using Windows Restore on the Microsoft website

Have you tried re-installing/upgrading to the latest Synaptics touchpad driver?
Also there is a new version of flash just released at version 10.1 which may help.Hope this helps and let us know how you get on
