Yep. 2GB is the largest SODIMM module allowed unfortunately 🙁jeepers01
Participantmjhead – It does seem a strange marketing strategy to omit BT from the US version but it is probably easier to buy a usb BT dongle than to delve inside the sammy.
There are some really small usb dongles on the market now. An example is here but shop around as there may be better ones available in the USA.
Hope this helps

Participantverwoods – Welcome to the forum
If you check the rating label on the back of the charger it may well say Input Voltage 100-240V 50-60Hz.
If so it will be ok to use in both the UK and USA.Hope this helps

I am typing this message from my netbook as I speak. After a few niggles, it is now working how I want to, although I still miss my MAC OSX a little bit![/quote1262022369]That’s good news but Windows may seem a bit of a vertical learning curve after your mac.If you get stuck or need some help, just ask and in the meantime enjoy your sammy 🙂

ParticipantTigerbright – You might also want to try Auslogics disk defrag, it has a function to optimize the positioning of the system files on the disk and will make a difference.
Note: it might take a while to complete the defrag – enough for several cups of tea 🙂
Hope this helps

ParticipantNickColley – You might want to try IconsExtract which could help with identifying the file where the icon is stored.
Also this guide may be of interest.
Hope this helps
