ParticipantIcon – Try powering up without the battery, it might help as the battery may be totally flat.
Are you sure the switch internal contacts are working. A press and hold my bear fruits.
I wouldn’t recommend opening up the battery as this could be dangerous.

Have a look through these threads on sound settings, you may well find a solution there. Else it may be a hardware fault.
Poor Volume

Participantdreadmonkey – Welcome to the forum
Not tried that charger but it looks ok from the description 🙂
Hopefully another forum member may have first hand knowledge of it and will be able to advise.

ParticipantWarmrain – I looked on the US website and 6.14.10.4926 driver is listed. I did not see the 6.14.10.4969 shown and as you correctly have observed it is for the Intel G965 chipset which is not fitted in the NC10. Also that driver was released on 07/03/2008.
Other users have had luck rolling back to an earlier Windows Restore Point after suspected auto-update problems and it is worth trying.
Hope this helps

Participanta-k-s-u – AFAIK Samsung normally ask for proof of purchase before warranty repairs but why not give them a ring and see what they say. I’m sure they will be helpful.
Alternatively you could try contacting the supplier as they will no doubt have records.
Just a thought but your sister may have put the receipt in the box, worth a look if she still has it 🙂jeepers01

A couple grains of salt to consider:Forum guests are often search engine robots, not actual people.[/quote1262118626]As I type this there are between 29 and 37 Guests reported on the system over the last 5 minutes
– That’s a lot of robots 😀Quote:Of the ~5150 registered members only ~3200 of them have posted, only ~2400 have at least two posts, and only ~630 have ten posts or more. (That’s about an eighth of all registered members.) Unfortunately, I don’t know of a way (as a user only) to make this forum software show the last visit time in a members list, which would be a much more useful piece of data for estimating active users. (Users who sign up, post once, and never return look good in the member count but do nothing for the “community”, as such things go.)Sorry you feel that the forum appears to be going backwards, the figures to me (and others) show a healthy position and one that many other forums would be envious of.
A total of 43,055 posts (5,450 threads, 37,605 replies) and 4,310,932 thread views
– not bad for a year!

ParticipantAdamBoosh – Welcome to the forum
I’m not sure we should be discussing this on the forum as it’s going to sail close to the wind of the forum rules.Try google 🙂

Participantsturm1909 – I does look as though Flash could be the problem as it’s the common link between FF and IE when playing Bubbles.
Try re-installing Flash 10. I found 10.1 didn’t perform as well as version 10 and reverted back to 10.Hope this helps and let us know how you get on.

Participantdbuk44 – Your welcome and happy new year to you too
Glad you are up and running again and let us know which service is the offender 🙂

Participantjgarrett – Carrying out a system restore really is the last resort and all data and settings will be lost together with any programs you have installed.
If you have tried Jaynes recommendations and run MalwareByes, although I appreciate this would involve transferring the programs etc. to a memory stick, with no luck, then perhaps a restore is the next option.
Not sure if you are familiar with the process but it’s quite simple. As the sammy is booting up press function key F4 and Samsung Recovery Solution will be displayed. Choose Full Restore and the machine will be restored to a position just after you initially set up the machine.
When up and running in XP your router wireless should be detected, click connect and enter your wireless key to connect. Sometimes the key is printed on the router label. If you can’t find it, report back with the router type and number.
Hope this helps and let us know how you get on

ParticipantSpeed3 – I agree, the new member take-up growth rate has been pretty impressive over the last recent months. Coupled with that is the 20 to 30 guests browsing the forum at any one time so the real readership is well in excess of 5,100.
Since I joined in March the membership has increased by 2,785. (1,169 between you and me in approx 4 months.) However there has been a noticeable sharp increase in new members since about mid October, long may it continue 🙂
We must all be doing something right to attract so many new members to this friendly forum 🙂
