Participantneilco – Welcome to the forum
If you feel so strongly that the machine does not live up to your expectations, why don’t you consider sending it back for a refund?
If on the other hand you wish to resolve the wireles issues let us know some more information and we will be able to assist.

Participantm fitzgerald – With ERM you have to re-install the video driver for it to work correctly. (see installation instructions on the Samsung download site)
Another thing to try is tabbing to the hidden button and pressing return, if that’s the prompt it is waiting for 🙂

Install Easy Resolution Manager which will give 1024×768.
Alternatively rotate the screen by 90 degrees temporarily with [Ctrl] + [Alt] + Left Cursor. Reset with Up Cursor.
Hope this helps

Participantazotyp – I had another look at the picture and I can see the slight aura on the right hand side of the LCD panel, which I missed last night.
As a suggestion have you tried upgrading/replacing the video driver. Never know it might help if it’s not a hardware problem.
It could also be a poor connection to the LCD screen connector or ribbon cable. Does the aura change it the lid is moved?
Hope this helps

A power off test from the pci-e pins to the sim card reader should identify if components are missing. If you need the pinouts just ask 🙂
