Rafalek – I guess you could lever it out very carefully with a small screwdriver but be careful you don’t tear the rubber leaving the base of the foot still stuck to the case by the adhesive.
If the sammy is not sitting level, is the case slightly flexed as you say it is ok when the lid is shut?
You might want to consider taking the appropriate amount off the diagonally opposite foot to level things up if it’s only a tiny bit out of level.

stubs – You may have luck sourcing the sub board and connector from mk-electronic.com
The soldering in of the SMD MNT4 (J501) connector may prove a difficult job to accomplish. It may be easier to connect small wires from the solder pads or wire directly from the slot2 pci-e pins to the sim card holder.

aocidicoa – The key on the underside of the netbook is the Windows key.
AFAIK the 2007 trial included with the machine does not work now as Microsoft have withdrawn the free trial offer and several users have reported that the product cannot be registered on the Microsoft website.
However Office 2010 beta is available for download as a trial from Microsoft website which I believe lasts for a year. source
