do you perhaps have some sort of heavy draining antivirus/antispyware or a combination of both + firewall running?
Are you recommending not running an antivirus program?
Samsung replied to my inquirey and recommended using a backup disc. Apperantly that gets you back to the point of choosing the partition size. I didn’t try it. Here is the link

I fixed the problem by formatting Partition D. Don’t ask why.
1. Go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management
2. Choose Volume D
3. in the Menu: Action/All tasks/Format
After formatting, the EASEUS (free) partition program recognized the hard disc without any error messages, and performed my requested partitioning.
I have the same problem. Did anybody have success with repartitioning the 110?
Brand New N110. I foolishly let the program set my partitions at 70/70. How can I change to 40/100? Can I start the installation from scratch?
