The screen is different along with a larger touchpad and the battery life is some 2.3 hours longer. Not the end of the world changes, but its always nice to have the best there is where possible 🙂It also has the digital connection too. Was not sure if there was such a thing as VGA to DVI and if it would make any difference.
The cable in the box is exactly like the one in the picture, never knew it was even there. But then again I never had any need for one until now 🙂
Just need to bite the bullet and buy an NC10 in the UK now, but there are a few of us very uncertain as to whether we are going to get the Special Edition or not. It would be so annoying to buy the NC10 and then find out the SE is coming out.

I just need the VGA cable now. Looks like the 500M has both connections on it.

Does that cable above have a specific name please?
Stereo sound will be fine as I have Quad 21L2’s for my fronts and it will sound awesome through them. The 500M is a monitor with no speakers, so sound has to go via the receiver.
I am sure the 480P versions will look stunning on my 50″ plasma (I hope so anyway).
Just a shame we are not getting the NC10 Special Edition in the UK 🙁
