Hi Sam, thanks for your comments! I too love the design. In fact this netbook has converted me to Samsung!
At the moment I have only tested the N130 with basic internet usage, and you certainly get 4.5-5+ hours of battery life (low illumination). I plan to see how office / video applications affect the battery; I can then give you a better real world usage figure. Hopefully sometime soon. 🙂
Hi tonytb. I bought the N130 nearly 2 weeks ago at media markt (I live in Granada). They had tons of them!! I know the price of them in the U.K is going down rapidly – about 250 pounds also.
This forum is a big bonus – I will be studying it when time allows.

It isindeed a rare beast. I’m a new netbook convert thanlks to it, and esecially Samsung. My wife lovesthe N130 – so everyone’s happy. Anyway here’s a poor photo of apparently the only N130 sold thus far in Europe:
🙂The N130 in Spain is about 50€ more expensive. My budget was 300€ – and I promised myself that I would not go over it no matter what (otherwise I think to myself “well for another 50€ i could get this or that etc…. )
I agree the N140 is a better machine. My wife wanted something easy to surf the web – the N130 just fitted the bill.Hope that helps.
