fcat Memberyou just heat the stuff up with a hairdryer while applying it, real easy fcat Memberyeh a lot lighter and more compact, decent length lead on it aswell. fcat MemberIve been using one for months, bought from that very seller, no problem at all. fcat MemberLittle bit of info about Airplane power. First find out what airline and what model plane your flying on (737.747.767 etc )then go to seatguru and choose your ailine and plane: Seat guru tells you evernythgin you need to know as to what seats have power points, where they are and what type of power outlet each plane model has! (ie: DC power, AC power, EMpower, car lighter lead etc) If your plane uses EmPower they you’ll need one of these to adapt a normal cigarette lighter socket to the EmPower plug: EmPower lead I usually take with me my normal mains block, a cigar/car lighter lead, an EmPower. What i also have is a US two prong mains lead (as below pic) http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/419ZzFd2MDL._SL500_AA280_.jpg that can also be plugged into my NC10 power block as a lot of US airlines have US two pin outlets, ive never had a problem once being able to power my NC10 on any flight. Hope This helps fcat Member[quote1248981559=cheese]
just had a quick peek in my n120 and it appears i’m lucky enough to have the mini pci-e and sim connectors, so following all this and a couple of other threads with interest, cheers for all the pioneering everyone.few questions:
problem is, i’m struggling to find a sim only mobile broadband package in the uk – anyone over here had any luck? even if i had to get a dongle – do they tend to have a bog standard sim in i can pry out and use with the sierra (etc) pcie card?if i go that route – seems the best option for me would be the o2 pay as you go route since i’ll only be using it very occasionally – and seem to passthrough BT Openzones a fair bit and could be using the free wifi access a fair bit as well. basically – any thoughts anyone, on which packages are currently the least rip off in the uk?
[/quote1248981559]buy an unlocked dongle from ebay (aprox £40) hen do a search on ebay for iphone simm, you can get them for about tenner and it gives you 12 months free net access!!!! ive been using one for the last 6 months and its faultless!! infact, here ya go: [MOD EDIT] Long links fixed ~TCMuffin fcat MemberAll they are trying to do is make everyone pay more and switch over to the 50meg service to make more money, they say they wont restrict the 50 meg services but they also never used to restrict the lower speed services! ive been with VM for 10 years(previosuly NTL) and seen nothgin but more restrictions and poorer speeds and services over the last few years. fcat Membermight not be so greta a deal, make sure you read this message first!! http://www.sammymobile.com/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?29293 July 4, 2009 at 8:08 am in reply to: Looking forward to opening up the NC10 for wifi & speaker upgrade ! #195278fcat Member[quote1246694749=RUQRU]

 NC10 video guide is here.
[/quote1246651027]Note that the gentleman in the video states he is using a Phillips head screwdriver. I did the same. There are no pozidrive http://www.primerpc.com/hardware/PhillipsPozi.gif markings on the screws. They appear to be cheap Phillips head screws. Here is a photo of a pozidrive screw. Not what I see on my NC10:
http://www.diydoctor.org.uk/project_images/screwsize/pozidrive.gif[MOD EDIT] Fixed quote tags ~TCMuffin [/quote1246694749] A pozidrive screw does not differ just from the small side markings(which are NOT there on the small posidrive srews) but differs more so in the angle of the downward V and the point(or lack of) at the end of the screwdriver, a posidrive screw does not go down to a point but a flat at the bottom, Hence using a philips screwdriver the point will not touch the flat at the bottom of the screw and will not seat correctly and will strip the screw head. fcat Memberfcat Memberid have no problem at all pulling the trigger on those three sick individuals. fcat Membercool, glad to be of help fcat Memberplays fine for me on my XP desktop with firefox! [/quote1242843104]How has it though ? i wasnt aware of any airline these days that wont allow you to use, laptops, ipods, dvd players, etc etc fcat MemberNot sure what you mean by “delivery issues” ?? ive bought hundreds of stuff from the USA, Hong kong and China and not had a single problem! Just buy a similar one from the UK: put the following item number in ebays search bar and press search! 350201661035
