Great post. I know that this is a Samsung forum… but I need to do something similar to my Lenovo s10-2. I need to install a SIM card socket… there is a slot on the back of the computer (behind the battery) where you insert the SIM card, but there is no socket on the motherboard. It appears that there is a spot to solder one, however I can only see 7 points, not the 8 that are in your instructions. I also see that there SIM card sockets seem to only come in 6 or 8 pin configurations. Any thoughts?

Note: I have a picture of the motherboard, but I am struggling to add it to this post.
